Rebecca’s Story
Rebecca comes to Asentiv New York with 25+ years experience of leading and managing people, teams and projects in the challenging world of government and public services. Her experience as deputy Chief Executive of a $400M 4000+ employee organization has given Rebecca the ability to see issues not only from strategic and operational perspectives, but also to gain a deep understanding of the importance of people in delivering business success.
Early in her career, Rebecca developed a deep interest in how people think, feel and act. A certified Myers Briggs® and DISC® behavioral styles practitioner, she has worked with teams at all levels to help them improve their productivity and success, through understanding each other better and improving communications. Her work with the senior leadership team of one organization saw staff morale increase by 20%, staff absence fall by 5% and public reputation improve.
An experienced coach, trainer and facilitator, she is passionate about equipping people to achieve the results they are looking for.
Having a traditional Scottish childhood, growing up Rebecca learned you were only as ever as good as the last thing you did. She spent years doubting herself and wasting precious energy worrying about not being good enough. The moment she started believing in herself, she put that energy into delivering instead – and the world changed! Her career really took off and she moved quickly into senior leadership positions that allowed her to increase her impact exponentially – on both staff within the organization and the communities being served.
Now Rebecca is committed to helping people discover their self-belief so that they can unleash their full potential and change their worlds as well.
Rebecca The Coach
As a coach, Rebecca holds a fundamental belief that we all have the answers within ourselves – it’s just a question of having the right guide and facilitator to help us find them. Rebecca has been described as having great insight and empathy as a coach, as well as the ability to help clients find solutions from a different perspective.
Her goal is to equip clients with an increased awareness of who they are, how they tick and – crucially – how they impact on those around them. But also to make sure they have an action plan to harness that knowledge for their benefit. Awareness, but absolutely with a purpose.
Rebecca’s clients have included senior executives in transition, middle managers aspiring to C-suite positions, and small business owners grappling with the challenges of growing their business.
Rebecca The Speaker
Rebecca has spoken on many stages, on many different subjects – and in more than one language!
A more unusual engagement saw her address a gathering of town center businesses in a tent in the middle of a field, knee deep in mud, and battling to make herself heard above the rain – in Welsh.
Her commitment to her audience is to make every presentation clear, practical, interesting and engaging.
